Sonoro Devaneio is a duo seeking new connections within Brazilian music, exploring dialogues between MPB, contemporary jazz, fusion, indie and classical music. The group is formed by singer Tiara Magalhães from Minas Gerais and musician and producer Amleto Barboni, who has collaborated with Lenine, Fernando Anitelli (O Teatro Mágico), Fafá de Belém, Raul Mascarenhas, João Paraiba, André Christovam, Blues Etílicos and many others. The duo shapes a sound that blends experimentation and authenticity.
Their debut album, released in July 2023, featured orchestral arrangements and highlighted the duo’s proposal to create a multifaceted sonic experience that celebrates the diversity of Brazilian music. Their latest single, “O Verbo”, points to the direction of their upcoming work, blending contemporary jazz, fusion and influences from the musical tradition of Minas Gerais. The track features special guest Felipe Viegas, a pianist who has performed alongside Kurt Rosenwinkel, Pedro Martins, Hamilton de Holanda, Daniel Santiago and Vanessa Moreno.
